I feel like pacifism is not necessarily directly opposed to combat sports. Sure some pacifist philosophy could be absolutist about it but I imagine a lot of ppl are pacifists because they don't want death and they don't want unwilling participants.
Can a pacifist believe in sparring for self-defense training? I don't see why not from an ethical/philosophical level. Competition is just a step up from that.

My mom once wanted to prohibit my little brother from playing a game because it was "all about destruction and war". She said he should try playing games like the ones my little sister plays. I told her that she shouldn't punish the boy based on her own subjective preferences. She and my sister are women, and my brother and I are men, so we like different things. It's not fair to want to prohibit others from doing what they like just because we don't like it too. The same applies to the women in this video.

None of these ppl have been through really rough conflicts that requires them to find inner resolve. A true pacifist holds the power to violence but control it to make peace – that is what makes a true pacifist. In other words, self proclaimed pacifists are pusssies.
