  1. Secret? That's the thing, it's no secret, everyone knew exactly what he was going to do and how, but no one could stop him from doing it. 😂

  2. Can anyone help me with a question?

why I don't see the tawara gaeshi/Chest lock/Chest Wrap being used in UFC as a counter to the double leg? (don't confuse it with sumi gaeshi, I've already seen it used)

I don't see in current UFC fights the use of judo's tawara gaeshi as a counter blow to the double leg when the opponent is already glued to you, in wrestling there is an equivalent called Chest lock or Chest Wrap. On the grid I understand that even without the opponent having their spine vertical and their hips further away (in this video it explains the positioning to perform a double leg without falling into the chest lock: https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=3d1frBji2H4) you can lift the guy in the air so that the tawara gaeshi doesn't work (this happens in this fight at minute 3:39: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhU4NvcUuNI), however, and in situations where this occurs practically in the middle of the octagon with the opponent having their spine horizontal and their hips away from you? Like this gif of a George St Pierre fight: https://www.reddit.com/r/MMA/comments/5urrw6/gsps_incredible_double_leg/

It's okay that at the end of the gif they are glued to the grid, but before that a long way was covered to reach the grid, so just looking at it seems to me that there was time to do a tawara gaeshi, however, at the same time, knowing that the tawara gaeshi is a very basic technique, I imagine that very high level athletes know of its existence and that if they don't use it as much (at least I don't see it being used), it's because there must be a good reason, be it the rules or efficiency itself. of the technique itself, but it could be that it is simply a technique that has not been very well explored (which I think is a little difficult, but I'm not sure, after all, the double leg is used a lot in MMA and having a trump card if the opponent manages to stick it to you would be of great help)

obs: Sorry for any translation errors, I'm from Brazil
