Guru thanks for bringing up the fact that MVP, first of all only has two losses in MMA, in one of which he just got wrestle loved and crotch sniffed by Mrs. Shirley, and in the other one, a title shot against Douglas Lima, which MVP was actually arguably winning, then got leg kicked and swept off his feet and did something he had never done in MMA up to that point, which is not put up his hands tightly against his face while getting up awkwardly from that sweeping leg kick, and got hit flush on the jaw, and when you get hit on the button with a haymaker of an uppercut, especially when you’re absolutely oblivious to the pot shot, I don’t care if you’re name is Marvin “the cinder block head” Vitorri, or Marlon “Chito, the granite chin” Vera, you’re going to go down and probably out, especially at a higher weight class… this narrative that MVP has issues with his chin is simply ludicrous not only because throughout his Bellator career, he rarely if ever got chin checked but even if we look at his BKFC fight against The Platinum Mike Perry, which I actually thought MVP won in regulation, and that extra overtime round shouldn’t have happened in the first place, but outcome of that fight against Perry aside, if there was ever any doubt about Page’s chin being suspect, he proved in that brutal BKFC bout against an absolute savage, that he can not only eat some big shots and remain standing on his feet, but also can dish out some serious punishment, after being hit by a guy who, as you mentioned, made Rockhold and Alvarez quit because they couldn’t take any more pain and disfigurement, while his own face was swollen pretty badly, to a point, where it may have even somewhat obstructed his vision… so if we do have any evidence about MVP’s chin, in my opinion, his ability to get hit and continue to bludgeon his opponents with concussive strikes, mostly his kicks in MMA and to a lesser degree his punches… thus I also think he is going to drop Holland and possibly finish him late because his striking fundamentals are super crisp and powerful but if I have to bet on it , I will take him by decision against the trailblazer every day all day as my lock of the card
