Ok, gotta rant here a minute, but it's time someone tells the truth about Merab Dvilishvilli, and that is this The only reason Merab wins his fights today, is because he wins them by "way of attrition." Yeah, “way of attrition” means, he wins by the process of gradually reducing the strength or effectiveness of his opponent by a sustained attack and/or constant pressure. A good example of this is when Merab defeated Peter Yan by attempting 38 takedowns. Yeah, let's think about that for a minute, 38 take down attempts! Seriously are you kidding me? Peter defended all but 11 of them, but obviously, at that point, he was too tired to mount any offense of his own. Point being here, is that the kinda mixed martial arts you wanna see? Heck, is that really mixed martial arts at all? I don’t know, but for me, it’s a hard pass. Thanks, but no thanks, I’ll keep my ppv money! I’d just as soon watch a Penn state wrestling match. LOL, that being said, I truly hope Sean knocks Merab, the flip out! Nuff said, peace out!

A knockout is always nice but I think this win raises his stock more. Anyone who fights O’Malley knows they either get him out of there or they deal with very high level striking for 25 minutes.
