I am not sure if everyone watched conor's other interviews for the movie, but he mentioned that they had 13 hours on set, he wanted to sleep he couldn't, dude was probably bored out of his mind, or consuming lots of caffeine or meds to not sleep, which just makes you more tired after.
He definitely wasn't in control there, in MMA he could literally tell Kavanaugh fuck you i am going home to drink some proper 12, but he couldn't do that in a movie with a contract, i think the experience was mostly negative for him, because even though he could have said i am open for more offers, dude just got the fuck out of there.
Some people would rather get punched in the face for a living, than spend a month or even a few weeks of extreme work time, where it's frustrating take after take of sorry boy, you didn't act good enough.
